Description: This sterling silver pierced basket is an unusual shape. I’m guessing it had a glass liner, sadly now missing. It has a rope detail around the top edge. With the hinged handle extended it is 5” tall. The diameter of the top opening is 3.75”. It weighs 56 grams and there are no manufacturers hallmarks. There is a slight dent on the foot, it’s circled in the photo, it’s hard to photograph.
