Description: This Native American bolo belonged to my late Grandfather. It measures about 18" top to bottom. The Sterling Silver center piece is about 2.5" tall. The engraving on the back reads: "Tommy Moore Sterling 12K G.F" and has a logo with a sun and mesa. I'm not a jeweler, so I took it to two store in Taos, New Mexico recently. They both told me it is Sterling Silver with nine "sleeping beauty" Turquoise stones. The engraved Kokopelli has a 12K gold inlay. They believed it is from the 1970's or early 1980's. I was told it was worth between $1,300 -1,800.00. Priced here with room to re-sell. The bolo was rarely worn. The leather is in excellent shape, the clasp works well and the silver has a nice vintage patina that can, of course, be polished to look new if that's your preference. I hope this goes to someone who will get more use out of this beautiful old piece.
