This and other items we now have listed have been purchased at the recent rural Kansas estate auction. This lot:this quilt has been created from an antique top found in a cedar chest years agoback in the 1990s the top was machine quilted large star blocks that are 18 inches acrossthe top was pieced by an 80 year old's grandmother and stored for yearsantique fabric from the late 1800s were used ~ prints of blue indigo, cadet blue, morning prints, turkey reds, brown, and clarets the blocks were alternated with floral print to complete the top this quilt measures 80 inches by 80 inches the backside is creamy off white almost tan and has been bound with the backing fabricI did not see any flawsshown on a double bedfound at a Kansas farm auctiona great piece to use as was intended or tossed over a chair or bench for that farmhouse lookFarm Fresh ~ I have not laundered Please see photos!
