Description: Up for sale is a Stanley No. 8 type 4 prelateral jointer in good condition with some apologies. Manufactured between 1874 and 1884. All features are correct for the type. The sole is smooth and flat, save for a tiny rough patch beside the mouth that will easily sand or lap out (see photo #9). The japanning is about 75% intact. There is a hang hole at the toe.
