Description: These five Staffordshire Liberty Blue 10” dinner plates are not only very pretty to use, but they also have an interesting history. The Liberty Blue dinnerware was first made by Enoch Wedgewood Co. in England for the Ben Franklin National Bank in 1976 as part of the Bicentennial celebration. Customers who deposited money received pieces of the dinnerware. When the bank stopped the incentive in 1977, the dinnerware began to appear as promotions in grocery stores. Each piece of the Liberty Blue collection features a different colonial scene. The dinner plates each have Independence Hall on the front with an edging of blue and white flowers. These five plates are in very good condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing.
