Description: Lovely, old Catholic statue of St. Theresa the Little Flower, made in Italy in the 80’s. The statue is factory marked on the bottom interior with 80, but a previous owner had hand written in same area 2-28-1989. The colors are very good. The hanging rosary on her side and the body of Jesus still glow with a gold iridescence. There are a few faint scuff marks on her black veil but mainly on the back. The flowers are still vibrant yellow and red with just a touch of green. The statue is made of an older heavy resin and weighs just over a pound. It measures just under 10”, at 9 7/8 “. I bought this at an estate sale of a long closed antique shop. It’s in very good vintage condition.
