Description: Beautiful solid golden oak shoeshine box. Box measures 12 3/4" long x 7 1/2" wide x 4 3/4" tall. Inside measurements are 12" long x 6 3/4" wide x 4" tall. Overall height including feet and shoe rest is 9 1/2" tall. Entire box is constructed of 5/16" thick solid oak and uses fingerjoints in assembly for strength. 90º hinges and thumb latch are in good working order. Repaired and refinished using several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster using 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Inside is fully lined with new dark blue felt.
