Description: Beautiful solid golden maple shoeshine box. Box measures 11" long x 7 3/4" wide x 7 1/2" tall (box). Inside measurements are 10 1/4" long x 7" wide x 6 3/4" tall. Overall height including feet and shoe rest is 11 3/4" tall. Entire box is constructed of 5/16" thick solid maple and uses fingerjoints in assembly for strength. 90º hinges and thumb latch are in good working order. Repaired and refinished using several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster using 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Inside is fully lined with new dark green felt.
