Description: Vintage framed beautiful water-color painting of Switzerland countryside landscape with building as per pictures signed by listed artist; Pierre Chatillon. I think this dates to the 1940s/1950s due to the look of the piece. There is a hand written inscription on the back in light pencil and looks like maybe not in English? But I canβt be sure. I looked at the paint with a Lupe and it does not have any dots and looks like paint to me. It is not a print. And if you run your fingers over the paint surfaces you can feel the texture. Visually appealing bright colors as per pictures. Condition; colors good and bright, frame finish has a few scratches and wear to the finish, but definitely looks original, painting is very well done and striking, overall very good, but the artist glued the heavy paper painting to the intricate matte-material.
