Vintage Slow Stitch Junk Journal Fabric Lace Craft Supplies, Blue Green Yellow

Description: This bundle is a nice curated collection of warm cheery colors, featuring aqua, olive green and golden yellow. The fabrics are a mix of vintage and newer solids and prints in 4"-6" (more 6" than smaller) pieces, including vintage hanky quarters, snippets of embroidery, some neutrals, doily medallions, and a linen-centered doily. A few of the lace pieces came from the cabinet drawers of a 1927 sewing machine that I recently rescued. I spent hours sorting through six drawers of notions, untangling lengths of lace, then washing and ironing it. It was a labor of love to bring these pieces back to life, where they can once again be valued for their beauty. The beautiful piece of tatting (in the center of the photo) is also from that group. Topping off the bundle are several embellishments, including coordinating buttons, beads, a key charm, and a couple of postage stamps. Four different colors of embroidery thread and a needle are provided. I know the postage stamp is just a little piece, but I have hundreds from all over the world that I’ve collected since I was a kid. Most of what I include is from my own personal stash, in a smoke-free, pet-free home. There may also be a few new-to-me vintage doily or linen pieces that I’ve recently rescued.
