Description: This is a vintage SINGER treadle sewing machine belt shifter. These were used on the cast iron treadle bases to get the leather belt on or off the belt wheel. This one is in very nice condition and includes that all important spring. These original springs are getting harder to find. Spring is in great condition. Singer never really changed the design and they will fit any treadle base made over all those years. The only difference is the round eye (older) or the oval eye, but they all work on any base. Same screw, same spring. These parts are in great condition. The paint is in nice bright shape. If you are looking to upgrade the shifter on your old machine, these parts will be perfect. Get Grandma's old machine going again.
