Description: This is a vintage sewing pattern by Simplicity, No. 1229. It contains three variations on a slim skirt with a fitted waistband. The copyright date is 1955. The pattern is a misses' size 27 which is a waist size of 27" and hip size of 36". The finished length of the skirt is 29 5/8". The pattern has been cut and all are in good condition. The waistband piece has a medium-sized rip in it and there is a small hole in the skirt front piece, but they are still useable. The envelope is completely open on one side and it has a few holes and tears, but is still in relatively good condition. All information on the back of the pattern information is still readable or distinguishable.
