The piece is made of iridescent crystals - brown, clear, and light blue in colour that really sparkle in the light and are set in a japanned metal. The approximately 2 1/8 inch wide brooch is marked "Sherman" on the back. The clasp is in working order and there are no missing stones. The black japanned metal has some wear.
