Description: The name for the company CORO was a combination of the first two letters of the last names of Emauel Cohn and Carl Rosenberger. "Coro" is the most common mark and has been used since 1919. The "Coro Craft" mark was used since 1937. After 1945, the "Corocraft" (one word) mark was used. Patent number 128,822 was filed by Adolph Katz on July 9, 1941 and issued on August 8, 1941 for the design of this pin clip. Finding this information leads me to believe this brooch was made between 1941-1945. The reason for much of Coro's success was Adolph Katz-the designer of this pin-who became the company's design director in 1924. Please see all photo's for condition. There are some missing glass rhinestones. I only ship within the lower 48 states.
