Vintage Benedikt NY Simple MCM Maltese Cross Pin Brooch Pendant

Description: Vintage Benedikt NY Simple Maltese Cross Pin Brooch Pendant. Probably dates to the mid century. Measures about 2.75 in across, so it is fairly large. These sometimes had a large gemstone sitting in the middle of the piece, but this one is plain and does not appear to have had a gemstone removed. There is a whiting build up on the crevice parts of the piece and I do not know if it is simply from aged dirt build up or if an enamel or other treatment was done to make it look antiqued. I only attempted to gently scrape some out with a small tool to little avail. It would probably need a good soak in soapy water to loosen it up. Has the hook so it can also be worn as a pendant. Neat piece. Realistic Customer Expectations= Customer Satisfaction... I am a junk dealer, not a chain retailer. Most of the items that I sell are vintage, used and loved- they are RARELY going to be perfect. You may consider something a problem that I have not even considered as a defect.
