Description: vintage SHAFFORD BLUEBIRD MUSIC FIGURINE The bluebird is perched near a tree stump that has a nest with three eggs in it. The whole is ceramic. Underneath is a key for winding the music. I did not recognize the tune; the music works. A label with SHAFFORD JAPAN printed is also at the bottom. The figurine measures 5" x 6-1/2" x 5." Very good condition. No chips or cracks seen. At the back is a slot where a metal tab switch is usually located so that the music can be turned on and off. That is missing so that when wound, the music will play until rewinding is needed.
