Description: 1970's mid century modern 6 matching dining chairs, walnut frames, cane seat and back by Thonet, purchased from Stendig in 1972, made in the Czechoslovakia factory and bears that stamp. Chairs were not used daily but for special dining events. The 6 chairs are in near original condition, no damage, no breaks, seat and back (NOTE TWO CHAIRS HAVE HOLES IN BACK, SEE LAST PHOTOS), walnut frames with no scratches or marks, all legs are tight, chairs sturdy. Price discounted for the 2 chair back need re-cane. Local pickup. Chairs can be boxed in 20x20x36 inch box, wt. about 10 lbs. each. Purchaser is welcome to arrange own packing and shipping, sell will be available at pickup.
