Description: Vintage Set of 2 MCM Eva Zeisel Hallcraft Century Fern Salad or Luncheon Plate. Eva Zeisel designed a series of dishes for Hallcraft, manufactured by the Hall China Company, and these pieces are in the Fern pattern. Fern features 3 brightly colored leaves in front of leaf outlines on white china and the pattern was produced from 1952-1957. The plates measure 8-3/8" in diameter on the more traditional rounded edge and 9.5" in diameter when measured across the handle. The size of this plate indicates it would have been used as either the salad or luncheon plate. In good condition overall with some flaws on both pieces. Both pieces have some surface scratches from utensil marks visible when viewed under light at an angle, however nothing that appears to have broken/damaged the glaze. Both pieces have some small dark spots that are visible as well as slight chips/rough spots out of the lugged handles. Please see photos for details.
