Vintage September Birthstone Saphhire Large Colored Pendant from Maine Estate

Description: We found this interesting vintage birth month pendant in a jewelry box in a Maine estate we liquidated. It is metal with what we assume is a Shappiret colored hard plastic center with a faux white stone. Says September on the front in cursive. Back has the manufacturers marks of an R and C in circles and a crown in a circle. We can not identify the manufacturer. We did not find a chain on this piece although there is a place to attach one.
