Description: This listing is for a Vintage Sears Roebuck Stereo System & Speakers * Turntable Tape & 8 Track Player AM/FM Radio * Cart NOT Included. The model number is 304.9192 and it was made in Taiwan. I'm uncertain of the exact age but I believe it's from late 60s or early 70s. The radio & tape deck function normally but I didn't have 8 Track Tapes so I could NOT test the 8 Track Player. The turntable has a few issues that will need to be repaired but I tested each speed and the turntable seems to rotate as it should on each setting. The turntable mat is warped & will need to be replaced and there is an issue with the connection of the arm. A piece may have dried out and broke due to it's age but I can't be certain. The sticker on the turntable says if the stylus needs to be replaced a Sony stylus should be used, so it's likely that the turntable or entire stereo could have been manufactured by Sony for Sears. The turntable cover has been cracked & repaired where it sits in the hinges but it functions normally. The stereo cart is NOT included in this listing but if you are interested in purchasing it as well, I would be happy to offer a discount on both the stereo & cart.
