Description: This is a Styrofoam core, large pirate head sign, probably used on the outside of a seafood restaurant guessing c. 1980s. I can only find one reference for it in a Google photo search and it was the outside sign/ decoration on a seafood restaurant somewhere in the Northeast. With that said, I am sure that there were many produced judging by the old sticker on the back with a UPC tag that I'm guessing probably dates it to the 1980s. This one, the owner told me they found in Florida. It is a used sign that definitely has signs of use and wear. It would be considered shabby look. Perfect for any beachy themed decor. It is pretty large at about 24" x about 21", but is fairly lightweight due to the composition. Realistic Customer Expectations= Customer Satisfaction... I am a junk dealer, not a chain retailer. Most of the items that I sell are vintage, used and loved- they are RARELY going to be perfect. You may consider something a problem that I have not even considered as a defect.
