Vintage Samsonite Hat Box Streamlite 9220 Traveller ROUND TRAIN SUITCASE 1950s

Description: This is a Vintage Aqua Tweed Samsonite Streamlite Round Hat Box or Traveller Train Suitcase, style 9220 from the 1950s. The travel case has a beautiful rounded shape with single top carrying strap and features an aqua green blue tweed textured exterior and coordinating fabric lined interior. The two metal locking clips on either side are fully functional though there are no keys included for the center keyhole lock. The hat box measures approximately 17.75" long x 16.75" tall x 7" deep and is in good vintage pre-owned condition. There is wear commensurate with age to the piece, with a small tear in the side of the exterior. The interior shows some water staining (which may be cleanable--I have not tried) and the fabric straps which secure to the bucked straps are frayed and damaged. The interior elastic top pocket needs to be retacked on one side. Please see pictures for details. All items sold are pre-owned and may show normal signs of age and/or use.
