Description: Unique vintage handcrafted wooden house / cabin that was part of a holiday train layout / putz village display. Features two clothespin-style people with handpainted facial features. Piece measures approximately 8 1/4" long, 6 1/4" deep and 5 1/2" tall. The attached figures, one at the door and one inside the front window, are about 2 1/4" tall. The cabin has a door made of a vinyl material that may be a later addition. The house is structurally sound. The exterior walls were originally covered with a pebbly coating, which is mostly intact on the right side but spotty elsewhere. The clothing that the clothespin-style figures were wearing, which was possibly crepe paper, has long ago disintegrated, although some remnants are visible around the necks. The piece could use a gentle cleaning. Please see the photos for more detail. Thanks for looking.
