Description: Vintage 5-1/4 Roseville Lilly of the Valley Utility Ware Pitcher Nice Vintage Utility Ware Pitcher with a stylized Lily of the Valley design, made by Roseville Pottery of Zanesville Ohio. It has the underglaze blue "RV" mark (difficult to see) which was used from 1923 to the mid 1930's. The shape is simple and curving, consistent with the Art Nouveau period, as is the Lily of the Valley design which is slightly impressed with handpainted details in muted colors on the creamy yellow clay body. It measures 5-1/4" tall and is in good condition with one shallow chip noted on the handle, a glaze flake and wear to the glaze on the underside of the spout, and allover crazing to the glaze. Please see all photos as they are part of the description and message with any questions prior to purchase. Thanks for looking!
