Description: Vintage Kewpie Santa Claus- Royal Society Kewpie advertising sign. Unmarked exact copyright date is unknown, this piece is wood with red flocking, black lettering and facial features. Measures approx. 11" top of head to base. In original as found condition no cracks, splits splinters or repairs. There are imperfections that includes red flocking is discolored and worn wood shows through in many places, black coloration is faded in a few areas. Even though there are imperfections Kewpie is in great original condition is a bit unusual being wood, it would make an excellent addition to any collection.
