These have attractive ribbed leather spines and cloth covers,two fairly matching in black, and one in dark red- a nice decorative addition to a vintage books library shelf. The slightly larger book, in two toned red leather and cloth hardcover binding is : La Grande Amitie par G. Lebacqz, S.J. (Jesuit), 7 7/8 by 5 3/4”, publishers Desclee de Brouwer & Granger Freres, Montreal, Catholic Imprimatur dated 1933; The smaller pair is in black leather & two tone cloth, 7 1/2 by 4 3/4”: La Beautie de l'Ame by R.P.L.Le Jeune, O.M.I, published by Juniorat du Sacre Coeur, Ottawa, 1922 Imprimatur, and Par Jesus-Christ Notre Seigneur, by F.D. Jouret, O.P.(Dominican), Desclee et Brouwer, Paris 1935 Imprimatur. Each have gold embossed titles on their spines; all books are in French. Condition of the books graded as FINE. Interiors all very fresh, clean and unmarked, pages in one volume slightly browned but not at all brittle, slight bit of external wear noted to the external bindings, each have bookplates from the monastery on inside front covers and all with library card pockets still attached inside back covers. We are selling these as a set of three decorative books and would request that you do not ask that we divide them at this time and sell them separately at this time.
