Vintage Rare Deluxe Tiger Joe Tank Army Military Toy 1961 #550276

Description: This auction is for a Vintage, Rare, Tiger Joe Tank Toy made by Deluxe in 1961. SKU #550276. I’m the original owner of this toy and I had many years of fun with it in the ‘60s. The gunner’s head is gone. My dog is responsible for that.;) It’s a large toy measuring in at 24” long, 14” wide and 13” high with the gunner (if he had a head). I left it with 60 years of dirt because I thought it makes it look more like a real tank. I can clean it if the buyer would prefer. All six shells are included. The firing mechanism also works. However, I couldn’t get the shells to come completely out of the barrel. I remember back then they told you to use talcum powder in the barrel to lube the barrel for the shells. Plus it also made a little puff of dust when you fired it (like smoke from a cannon). The remote control back cover is missing and the remote switch to control forward/backward movement broke after several years of play. My dad made a little copper replacement that worked at the time, but I seriously doubt it works now after 60 years. Let me know if you have any questions.
