Description: Vintage Putnam Cutlery Co Carving Set Stag Tip 1850 Knife, Fork & Sharpener Lot. I believe these are antique, but I cannot confirm as I am not an expert. These are manufactured by the Putnam Cutlery Co of New Britain CT. I'm guessing the second half of the 19th century or maybe early in the 20th Century. See the photos for the branding -- Putnam County Co. New Britain, CT. And the cannon with the 10 cannon balls in a pile to the left. There is natural wear and tear commensurate with age and use. The handles are genuine stag tips. The fork has a loose metal band but it doesn't affect it's use. We're selling it "As Is".
