Description: Hi, This auction is for a Primitive style wooden Sugar Firkin or Sugar bucket which has been hand painted in the Pennsylvania Dutch style. A peasant girl on top, scrolling designs with a rooster on one side. Measures 7 1/2” tall, 8” in diameter at the top, and 8 1/2” at the bottom. Very good condition: clean inside, nice paint retention, one tiny crack on lid (see closeup pic.) a few areas of wear to the wood from use and age. Great primitive decorated piece. Nice for storage.
