The #5 was widely used in Prewar and Postwar Front Hubs & Pedals. This #5 remake has 7 x 3/16" balls and has a out side Diameter of 13/16". 13/16 " is also the inner diameter of the cup it installs into. Please Measure your Needs to be Sure. The #5 Bearings were used in some of the Front hubs offered by: Colson, Great Western, Excelsior, Davis, Westfield, Iver Johnson. The #5 was used in the New Departure SM and MX Front Hubs. The #5 was used in Postwar Schwinn Union Front Hubs. The #5 was also the Main Bearing used in Pearson and Torrington Pedals. Remember if you are rebuilding pedals you will need to buy 2 sets (4 total) for a pair of pedals. Buy Multiples or check out our ebay store for a pedal rebuild kit. This is a decent Remake of the #5, but some cases I do prefer the performance of old style outside open bearings better than these closed outside bearings ,although this is your best bet available today. New Bearings are a Plus, adding New life to your parts and bicycle, but if cones, races, cups, and spindles are badly worn and damaged, new bearings are only half the battle, Unfortunately I do not have those items, so Please respect that and refrain from asking.
