Description: This Prentiss 19 swivel base, rear swivel jaw vise came from a recent trip to CT. It was sitting outside rusted, but I saw the beauty in it. Soaked in the parts washer for a few weeks, disassembled, made a new swivel lock pin and cleaned up the tapered hole. Please watch video for vertical slop in the rear swivel jaw. When clamping a part, this does not affect the function of the vise. No damage on the rear swivel jaw or pocket on main body, just wear. Also the tapered hole has wear as shown, but pin does hold the jaw in place well and functions. Smooth Jaws Replaced spindle collar with a stainless steel collar and copper washers for a smooth action.
