Description: Hong Horizons Porcelain Bowl in Pewter Vintage Handpainted Made in Japan What a beautiful Japanese bowl in unique pewter holder. This vintage bowl is encased in pewter. The bowl is handpainted with birds (ducks?) and flowers. The pewter handle is wonderfully decorative. I think this was used as an ashtray but you can use it as a trinket dish or decorative piece in your home. There are no chips or cracks in the porcelain. There is some wear on the paint, like part of one of the bird's neck is gone. There is slight wear on the pewter. Please see all photos! Please let me know if you have any questions.
