Description: This is an action-filled pair of vintage signed Pompeian Bronze bookends with a theme of ‘dog chasing cat on fence’. There is an artist signature at the foot of the fence that seems to read: ‘M. Vlassenk’. The cat and dog figures on the bookends have lots of visual detail and appeal. The bookends are in very good condition. It appears that the tails for the the cats were cast and attached separately (see pictures). Additionally, one tail may have broke off and been reattached at some point in time. The bookends are about 8 inches tall by 4 inches wide by 4 inches deep. Review the pictures to assess the condition in more detail. Returns are not accepted, so be sure to ask if you have any questions before you place a bid.
