Description: Vintage single-bit axe head made by PLUMB in the USA. This axe head has the phantom bevels and weighs over 3 pounds and 13 ounces. It measures 7 n1/4" in length and the bit edge is 4 5/8" wide. It has the Michigan pattern. Check all the pictures for details. It has been cleaned using electrolysis, buffing wheel sandpaper, and lightly polished. There is a small hairline crack (about 1/4") at the front of the eye on the bottom side. This was very possibly there from new and shouldn't affect its use at all. The PLUMB graphic is nice. This is an old axe head and does have some normal pits.
