Description: Here is an assortment of signed and unsigned vintage brooches. 1. A pin /pendant in with gray faux pearl and silver color beads and round grayish-white rhinestones. The beads are 2 and 3mm, while the rhinestones are 2mm. Lovely rippling effect in the petals and design. Signed "Lee Angel" on the back. The diameter of the pin measures 2.25". Some looseness in the movement of the pin stem, as well as a slight bend in the pin stem and wear to the plate on the stem from use. It can also be used as a pendant; it has a generous 10mm bale on the back. 2. A heart pin in gold tone metal with 6mm round blue, green and clear/white rhinestones. Signed "Kristel Saint Martin, Paris, Made in France," on the back. Measures 2" wide x 1.75" high at the widest points. Some slight wear to the metal on the front (tiny surface abrasions, hard to see), but nothing major. 3. A Dalmatian dog pin with black spots (black-colored metal, depressed into the surface), gold tone metal and a rhinestone collar made of 1mm red round rhinestones. The collar has a gold faceted fob (affixed to the neck of the dog) to indicate an ID tag. Signed "Trifari Inc., 1996" on the back; the "Inc." goes slightly off the rectangular plate with the stamp. The entire back of the pin is etched with abstract line patterning. Measures 1 5/8" high and 2" wide at the widest points. Some small nicks in the gold on the dog in the front commensurate with normal wear and use. 4. An intricate heart pin with red and clear white rhinestones and flowers layered into the design. The stones are all round and range in size from 3, 4 and 6mm. The pin measures 1 5/8" wide x 1.75" high. The smaller red stones are a brighter red than the larger ones, which are more like a wine red. It is missing one tendril of leaves in the lower right as you look at the pin, so this one has a flaw. It can still be worn or it could be for repairs or crafts. 5. A pin with a silver tone heart at the top and overlapping circles beneath. One is a plain mirror, and the others are metallic and/or reflective red circles, with one black one at the bottom. The pin measures 3.25" wide x 3" high at the widest points. There is a good deal of dried glue visible on the back where the circles are attached to each other. 6. A stickpin in a geometric design with an oval maroon/burgundy dangle at the bottom. Smooth cabochon cut circular and square stones in yellow, maroon and green on a backing of matte gold tone metal. Signed "Gale Rothstein II" on the back. The stones are 14mm and 4x6mm, and the oval dangle is .5" x .75". The pin measures 4.75" high x 1 1/8" wide. There are some marks on the front of the pin on the metal (marks or small wear to the plate), particularly one on the lower right quadrant of the front. Also a couple of small markings on the back. 7. A pin in the shape of the numbers "516," which is the area code for Nassau County on Long Island in New York. Prong set 4mm round clear white rhinestones in closed back silver tone metal setting. Measures 1.25" high x 1 5/8" wide at the widest points. 8. A brooch with three large round faceted stones: a luminous center Aurora Borealis (AB) stone, flanked by two black stones of similar shape. Silver backing and pin mechanism, although metal is not visible from the front. Some dried yellow glue is visible on the backing and there are some small scratches also on the metal backing (see photo 2). The center AB stone has a diameter of 28 mm; the two black stones are very slightly smaller, about 27 mm, although they were difficult to measure exactly since they are both overlapped by the center stone. The brooch measures 2 3/8" across and 1 1/16" high. Please view and enlarge all photos as part of the description. Overall in very good pre-owned condition, flaws as noted.
