Description: Unknown Tile Maker circa 1920-1940 Vintage grill or vent tile has satiny pale lavender glaze. Originally made for a practical purpose, mainly to accommodate heat exchange. They were used in fireplaces and other architectural installations. Some were used to artfully mask floor drains. Today, these are collectible treasures. Measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 1/2" thick.
