Description: A lovely vintage pair of porcelain Victorian figurines made in Occupied Japan. The figurines were hand painted and the colors remain bright and true. The set was made in Occupied Japan when Japan was occupied by the Allied Forces following World War II from 1945 until 1952.Each figurine is approximately 6" tall.The condition of the figurines is excellent, appearing to have only been used lightly for display, with no cracks, chips, scratches or crazing. However, the lady figurine had something that adhered to the bottom and when it was removed it took some of the porcelain off the bottom, which has been taken into consideration in the pricing of the figurines,All pictures are of the item described and are representative of the used condition of the item.
