Description: Excellent ornate frame, with ornate, detailed stand as well. The frame is approx 10x8.5 overall with an opening of approx 3.5x5 inch. Not marked Italy but in same style and identical to ones marked Italy and has some kind of maker’s mark (640) on it. Please see close-up of back of the frame… there doesn’t appear to be either small nails or hooks to attach a picture or mirror to it. Also, note the stand has a notch to adjust its placement (the degree of slant). This is a very decorative beautiful ornate frame and is lovely just as is.
