Description: My father's factory held a Christmas party every year. The highlight of the event was a present from Santa. I believe it was at the 1974 party that I received this Ertl toy dump truck - give or take a year. This vintage Original Ertl International IH Loadstar Dump Truck boasts the Touch Steering feature as well as a perfectly functioning "hydraulic" dump box. While the gift was greatly appreciated at the time, with this toy not being one that was "on my list", it got played with less than other toys. As a result, 50 years later it's in incredibly good condition. The only flaws I'm seeing are a few chips in the front grill and a few more on the front edge of the dump box.
