I think the handle is hickory It has Shapleigh's on one side, and the other side has another trademark kind of looks like Keen Kutter outline, but that is just a guess on my part. The handle is 12 inches in length and is a little loose I did not try to clean this, from relative's estate I am selling this is AS IS good (in my opinion) vintage/old used condition Thank you for looking at my items.
