Her home and studio are nestled in a country setting that provides abundant inspiration for her artistic endeavors. Educated in business, she decided to follow her lifelong dream and dedicate herself to a full-time career in art. Over the years, she studied with several renowned artists, including Rudolph Colao, Ferdinand Petrie, Ray Loos, Paul Leveille, Charles Movalli, Ron Goyette, and Zoltan Szabo. Proficient in nearly all media, Ms. Gould chooses the one that best suits her creative vision. Her artwork captures the essence of life in Vermont, often depicting the state’s landscapes and rural scenes. With influences from French and American Impressionism, she skillfully employs composition, color, and light to convey her visual experiences. Her paintings have been exhibited across the United States and Great Britain, earning her numerous awards.
