Description: This is a reproduction of the painting Silence by Victor Puzyrkov. The original painting was done in 1953. This is dated 1965. We are unable to decipher the signature. The writing otherwise seems to state: Fish Kolkhoz (a collective soviet farming system) катран (uncertain what this means) ТИШИНА (Silence) The painting itself is in very good shape. There are some faint marks vertically right next to the edge of the frame. These can be seen in the photos. There is some damage and repair work to the frame. The corners are split slightly and it looks like there may have been some glue for a repair. Approximately 26 inches wide by 17.5 inches tall. Exposed picture area approximately 19 inches wide by 11 inches tall. Please review the photos for details. We are not experts but will attempt to answer questions and can can supply additional photos if requested.
