Vintage Oil Painting Signed Dowling Clipper Ship in Storm Ocean Nautical Marine

Description: This listing is for the original oil painting signed "Dowling" that you see in the photos. I purchased it at an estate sale in Oregon where I was not told its history. It appears to me to be old enough to have possibly been painted in the 1960s or 1970s if not earlier. I leave it to the buyer to decide when and where it was painted and who painted it. The frame measures close to 26 by 23 1/4 by 1 1/2 inches. The area of the painting exposed by the frame measures close to 19 1/2 by 15 ⅜ inches. The framed painting weighs close to 7 pounds 2 ounces. The painting appears and feels like it is painted on some kind of wooden board. The painting might be older than the frame. The condition is much like you see it in the photos. The painting and frame might benefit from a light cleaning. The painting is in excellent condition with no damage . The frame shows a few very minor signs of use. The color of the wooden frame is generally uniform unlike the photos with part of it somewhat shadowed show. Otherwise, painting and frame are fine and as shown. I guarantee this painting to be as described and represented by the photos. The photos are part of the description. Please look at all of them. I allow three business days for shipping, but I usually ship the same or next day if possible. Please note that the lighting in my photos is uneven, and there might be shadows or reflections. The colors on my monitor look close to but not exactly like the actual colors; different monitors may show different colors.
