Description: Vintage 1956 Odd Fellows IOOF Official SGL Wool Cape from a lodge in Georgia. The patch on the left arm/shoulder is Ladies Aux. Patriarchs Militant, and the inside tag says Official S.G.L. The manufacturer tag states it was made in 1956, and the name Mary Garner is handwritten on it. Measures approx. 30" from shoulder to hem, and 40" across the bottom hem when laid flat. It's in great shape with no rips, holes or stains in the wool that I am aware of, and the button and hook & eye closure are both intact and functional. The lining does show some wear in places, and there is a spot on the left breast where you can see a medal or badge had been attached (pictured). Please check out all of the pictures for condition.
