Description: VINTAGE OAK CARRIAGE CLOCK QUALITY GERMAN STRIKING MOVEMENT - LYMINGTON INTEREST An oak cased carriage clock by Paul Evans of Romsey. Made with a top quality German brass balance wheel/platform escapement, eight day key wound movement, with a chiming train that strikes the hours on a bell. A label inside states the case is made from the old oak of the cupola of St. Thomas Church ( Lymington ). There is a brass/metal presentation plaque to the top. The clock is not currently running, the movement seeming quite dry, so requiring a service/oil. So sold for spares or repair. The face is printed metal behind glass, with black steel hands. The handle and bun feet are brass/brass coloured metal. The polished oak case is in good condition with a few minor scratches. Comes with its original key as found. Height inc. handle 21cm. Width 13cm Approx. Please see photographs for detailed condition. Please see my other listings for interesting items. Combined postage and packaging available. Powered by eBay Turbo Lister
