Vintage Nymphenburg Porcelain Satyr Urn on Pedestal Vase Painted Accents 734/1a

Description: Due to the increase in volume of packages being shipped through the US Postal System, shipping times have occasionally been longer than those estimated by either eBay or the USPS tracking tool. Vintage Nymphenburg Porcelain vase in the shape ofan urn sitting atop a square pedestal.The urn has two satyr head/mask handles up at the shouldersand molded acanthus leaves encircling its base.The creamy-white urn has gold painted accents on the satyr heads, acanthus leaves, and the foliate decorationjust below the the neck of the vase.The front of the pedestal part of the vase has raised scrolls and shield-like design in puce and lavender. This is 6" tall and bears the impressed Nymphenburgmark on the lower rear of the pedestal and againon the underside along with the printed mark used from the years 1975 to 1996.Also on the underside are the impressed shape/patternnumber, 734/1a and a group of hand printednumbers in puce.These marks are shown in the last 6 photos. One of the tips of one satyr's horns has broken off and is missing.This satyr with the damaged horn is shown in photo #15 andagain in close-up in photo #16.Fortunately, the damaged horn is on the side that faces towards the rear of the vase, making it less noticeable.No other damage noted.The gold painted accents show very little wear.Priced with the damaged horn on the satyr taken into consideration.
