Description: This is a custom bundle. One vintage 6 inch novelty brass and faux leather wrapped telescope. The faux leather is black in color and is wrapped around the largest tube of the telescope. The telescope extends to 6 inches and closes to 3 inches. The largest tube is a black in color plastic tube which measures 4.5 inch in diameter; the second tube is a brass tube and has a measured diameter of 3.5 inch; and the third tube is the smallest; It is a brass tube with a measured diameter of 2.5 inch. The black plastic tube is wrapped in a black colored faux leather. The end glass pieces are in fair condition. No cracks, however the largest glass/lens located on the black end tube has a side which is scratched. It does not interfere with the extending of the telescope or its visual appeal. The scratch is noticeable when looking through the telescope. The scratch does not block the views seen through the telescope. The magification is very minimal at best: 1.5 zoom to a 2 in zoom. Refer to pictures. The picture of the scratched lens is viewable; it is the last picture. It appears a a discoloration on the lens. The wooden storage case is maple with blue felt lining where the compass rests upon while not in use. The novelty compass has a brass pocket watch in appearance. The exterior case is brass, some patina. The compass inside the brass case is plastic and has the North, South, East, West directions. The needle works as it should. It moves and points towards the North. The direction North is a large letter N in the color red. There is a plastic cuff with numbers and letters such as N, S, E and W. This plastic cuff turns to help you find your direfction of travel. Over all this item is in good condition. It is used and was rescued from a storage unit that was auctioned. This will look good on a desk; or in any room as decor; or a fun present to gift to the youngest of pirates or cowboy/cowgirl explorer. All offers are considered.
