Description: Vintage Norges Apotekerforenings Lommeapotek, Empty Tin Storage Box Product description: Square box in metal with lid attached with hinges. The box is orange on the outside with a print on the lid. The underside of the box is gold colored. The pocket pharmacy has no remaining contents, tin only. The Norwegian Pharmacists' Association (NAF) produced preparations centrally and distributed them to the pharmacies. These preparations went on sale from 1926. This is probably from before the mid-1950s. CONTENTS (Text on the inside of the lid as translated) - 10 acetylsalicylic acid tablets of 0.50 gr. (For headaches and rheumatism ± 1 to 2 tablets at a time) - 10 Kinin pills at 0.10 gr. (For colds and fevers ± 1 to 2 pills at a time). - 10 Sagrada pills (Stool pills ± 1 to 3 pills at a time). - Conradis Cholera Drops (For diarrhea and pain ± 20 to 40 drops for adults. Children over 5 years one drop for each year). Camphor drops (By freezing and fainting 10 to 20 drops at a time). - 6 Boric acid tablets of 1 gr. (2 tablets dissolve in 100 grams of hot, - boiled water for wound washing and wrapping). - Iodine solution (For wound treatment) - Xeroform ointment (Wound ointment) - Salicyl tallow (Against abrasions) - Hansaplast and Leucoplast (Wound plasters) - Styptic cotton (For nosebleeds). - Sterile Gaze ¼ meter - Purified cotton - Gutta-percha paper (22 x 22 cm) - Safety pins (3 pcs) - gauze bandage 5 m.
