Description: This is a vintage ceramic piggy bank made by Norcrest Japan, probably in the 1950's. It has raised applied pink and blue delicate flowers with green leaves. It is very nicely painted and has the sweetest face. There is a scattering of gold flecks on it's ears and curly tail. It has a smooth, satin finish, cute pink nose and baby blue eyes! It is stamped AP-106, but the Norcrest seal is gone. However, I was able to identify it as a Norcrest item with the number. It is just over 4" tall and 6-1/2" long. A cork is in place as a stopper. This little piggy is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. But there are several chipped petals and leaves on the flowers. Please review photos.
