It doesn't appear to have been worn (maybe just displayed). I bought it from an older gentleman that was getting rid of his vintage hat collection. It displays basic things that you would expect with a hat of this age. First and foremost I want to mention that I just noticed the foam lining has aged and is starting disintegrate.. a lot and get pretty messy (I noticed when I sat the hat on my desk and I saw tiny foam particles on the desk). The sides have creases from the back being folded into the front, I also noticed a couple crease marks on the bill, the headband appears stained but the more I look it is from the foam lining inside the headband that has aged and last of all it just looks and feels like vintage quality (you know what I mean if you love vintage hats).
